Privacy Policy
QuotationAssistant

Short version: everything you type into the app — your company profile and your quotations — is stored only on your device. We have no servers, no accounts, and we never see your data. The long version is below.
Who we are
QuotationAssistant is an iOS app developed and operated by LazzyMerlin (the “developer”, “we”, “us”). It helps small contractors create and share quotations. For privacy-related questions or requests, contact: lazzymerlin@gmail.com.
What we collect
The app itself
All content you create in QuotationAssistant is stored locally on your device only, including:
- Your company profile (company name, owner name, phone numbers, tax ID, address, service description)
- Your quotations (customer names, line items, prices, notes)
- App preferences (appearance, label language)
We do not collect, store, or transmit any of this data. There is no account, no sign-in, and no cloud sync. Quotation PDFs and images leave your device only when you actively choose to share or print them via the iOS share sheet or AirPrint.
Note: customer information you enter into quotations is data you control. You are responsible for handling your customers' information appropriately when sharing quotations.
Third-party services
QuotationAssistant uses the following third-party services, each governed by its own privacy policy:
1. Google AdMob (advertising)
On the free tier, after the daily free export is used, you may choose to watch a rewarded ad to unlock one more export. These ads are provided by Google AdMob, which may collect:
- Device identifiers (including IDFA / Advertising Identifier, only if you grant App Tracking Transparency consent)
- IP address
- General usage signals required to serve ads (e.g., ad impressions, clicks)
iOS will show you an App Tracking Transparency (ATT) prompt before the first ad. If you decline, AdMob will only show non-personalized ads using anonymous, contextual signals.

2. Apple StoreKit (in-app purchase)
If you purchase “Pro (remove ads forever)”, the transaction is processed by Apple via StoreKit 2. We do not receive or store your payment information. Apple may share an anonymized transaction receipt with the app for purchase verification.

3. Apple Crash Reporting (opt-in, system-level)
If you have enabled crash reporting in iOS Settings → Privacy → Analytics & Improvements → Share with App Developers, Apple may share anonymized crash logs with us. We use these only to diagnose crashes and improve the app. This is opt-in at the iOS level — we cannot enable it without your consent.
Permissions the app requests

We do not request:
- Photos library access, camera, or microphone
- Location, contacts, Bluetooth, or any other sensitive permission
Data retention & deletion
- All app data lives on your device. Deleting a quotation in the app, or deleting the app itself, permanently removes the data — we keep no copy.
- AdMob retains data per Google's data retention policy.
Your rights
Depending on where you live (e.g., EU/EEA under GDPR, California under CCPA), you may have rights to access, correct, or delete data we hold about you. Since the app stores all data on your device and we keep no copy, there is typically nothing for us to access or delete. For any privacy request, email lazzymerlin@gmail.com.
Children's privacy
QuotationAssistant is a business tool and is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children under 13.
International users
The app is distributed via the App Store. Third-party services (Google AdMob, Apple) may process data in the United States or other jurisdictions. By using the app, you understand that data handled by these third parties may be transferred to and processed in those countries under their respective privacy policies.
Changes to this policy
We may update this Privacy Policy as the app evolves. The “Last updated” date at the top will reflect any changes. Material changes will also be noted in the app's release notes.
