YourlyOmamori

Short version: your client data lives only on your device and, if you enable sync, in your own iCloud private database. We operate no servers. We do not collect, hold, or transmit your data, and we have no technical way to read it. The long version is below.
Who we are, and our role
YourlyOmamori is an iOS app developed and operated by LazzyMerlin (the “developer”, “we”, “us”). For privacy-related questions or requests, contact: lazzymerlin@gmail.com.
We are a tool provider, not a data controller or data processor of your clients' personal data. All client records you create in the app are held and controlled solely by you, on your own device and (optionally) in your own iCloud account. They never pass through us.
What we collect: nothing
The app has no account system, no login, and no backend. We do not collect, store, or transmit any of the following:
- Your clients' names, phone numbers, addresses, family relationships, or any client records
- Your visit notes, reminders, marketing lists, or any content you create
- Your name, email, location, or device identifiers
- Usage analytics or behavioral data tied to you
We also deliberately do not include: advertising SDKs, cross-app tracking, or any analytics SDK that could carry personal data. On-device AI features (business card OCR, visit note classification) run entirely on your iPhone using Apple's frameworks — nothing is uploaded.
Where your data lives
1. On your device
All client data is stored in a local database on your iPhone/iPad, protected by iOS's built-in encryption and your device passcode.
2. Your own iCloud (optional sync)
If iCloud sync is enabled (Settings → iCloud Sync, on by default, can be turned off anytime), your data syncs across your devices through Apple's CloudKit private database. This database belongs to your Apple Account. By Apple's design, the developer cannot read, query, or export data in users' private databases. Apple's handling of iCloud data is governed by Apple's privacy policy: apple.com/legal/privacy
Third-party services
The complete list of third parties involved is short:
1. Apple iCloud / CloudKit (optional sync)
As described above — your private database, under your Apple Account.
2. Apple StoreKit (subscription)
If you subscribe to YourlyOmamori Pro, the transaction is processed by Apple via StoreKit 2. We never receive or store your payment information. Apple shares an anonymized transaction receipt with the app solely to verify the subscription.
3. Optional cloud AI with your own API key (not active in the current version)
The app contains a settings skeleton for an optional “cloud AI” enhancement designed around three safeguards: it is off by default; it only works with an API key you bring yourself; and it requires your explicit consent before anything is sent. In the current version this feature makes no network calls at all — no data leaves your device. If a future version activates it, this policy will be updated first, and any data sent to your chosen AI provider will be sent under your own key and account, governed by that provider's privacy policy.
That's the full list. No advertising networks, no analytics providers, no crash-reporting SDKs.
Permissions the app requests

We do not request: location, contacts, microphone, full photo library access, Bluetooth, or any other sensitive permission.
Data retention, deletion, and export
- Your data is retained on your device (and in your iCloud, if sync is on) until you delete it. We hold nothing, so we retain nothing.
- Deleting a client in the app moves it to the in-app trash for 30 days (so accidental deletions can be restored), after which it is permanently removed. With sync on, deletions propagate to your other devices and your iCloud.
- Deleting the app removes all local data from that device. To remove iCloud copies as well, delete clients in the app before uninstalling, or remove the app's iCloud data via iOS Settings → your name → iCloud → Manage Account Storage.
- You can export your complete data anytime (Customers → Export) as JSON (full backup) or CSV (spreadsheet-friendly). Your data is always portable and always yours.
Your responsibilities for your clients' data
YourlyOmamori is a record-keeping tool. The client information you store in it was collected by you, and you remain responsible for handling it lawfully — including any notification, consent, and lawful-use obligations under the personal data protection laws applicable to you (e.g., Taiwan's Personal Data Protection Act). The app is not designed to, and must not be used to, collect personal data unlawfully.
Children's privacy
YourlyOmamori is a professional tool rated 4+ and is not directed at children under 13. Since the app collects no personal data, we hold no data from children.
Changes to this policy
We may update this Privacy Policy as the app evolves (for example, if the optional cloud AI feature is activated in a future version). The “Last updated” date at the top will reflect any changes, and material changes will be noted in the app's release notes.
